Water’s Edge Sweet Tooth in Traverse City is a true gem! The red velvet and lemon cupcakes were absolutely delicious—fresh, moist, and full of flavor. Kim and her team provided phenomenal customer service and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s clear she takes great pride in both her bakery and her customers. If you’re looking for amazing cupcakes and outstanding service, I highly recommend Water’s Edge Sweet Tooth!

While looking for desserts for our wedding, my wife and I didn't want to go down the traditional route of getting a wedding cake. Instead, we wanted a variety of small desserts that were easy for guests to enjoy, while also bringing a unique touch of local Traverse City flavor. After doing some research and making a few calls, we found Kim at Waters Edge Sweet Tooth. From our very first phone call, Kim was incredible. She walked us through every single dessert option, paying close attention to detail and asking thoughtful questions to really get to know us. Even though we never got to meet her in person, her warmth and professionalism shone through over the phone, and we knew we were in good hands. The spread we built together was an absolute hit—from the little fruit tarts to the cookies and donuts, our guests couldn't stop raving about them! Kim delivered everything perfectly on time while we were away at our ceremony, and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. While we didn't get a traditional cake, Kim made sure our vision was executed flawlessly. Kim was awesome to work with and made the tastiest treats for our wedding! Guests raved about the bite sized options and all the fresh fruit incorporated. I don't think I have ever seen an empty dessert table at a wedding before! Plus, our personal cake was adorable and tasted DELICIOUS. I swear it tastes better and better each night (cannoli filling 10/10). Thanks again Kim!!! Can't wait to come see you next time we visit TC!

I had a wonderful experience with this bakery in Traverse City as I ordered this cake for my friends 30th birthday, coming from out of town! The owners made a delicious, sweet and beautifully decorated cake to fit our birthday theme! Sweet blueberry filling with a vanilla cake and amazing butter creme frosting! My friend loved her suprise birthday cake and the owners were very kind, generous and helpful! Thank you so much! 😊 🩵

I wandered by on a rainy day (when they were CLOSED), and as I opened my mouth to, “Wow” when I noticed the beautiful treats, Mark opened the door & let me in. He let me know they were recently voted the best pumpkin donuts in town and I had to try them. They were phenomenal! It was the first time I wanted to send a thank-you letter for letting me into their shop and tasting this moist, hefty donut, packed with pumpkin & the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar, fluffy & cakes, but doesn’t crumble. Saturday’s they are mostly prepping for weddings, but will welcome you any time if they see your mouth watering at the picture window. Mark & Kim have a lovely shop, custom fortune cookies and plethora of other delicate treats. Stop by, you will thank them later.
